The NSG Winter Championship VALORANT circuit has been happening since as far back as October. Open tournaments, qualifiers, and LAN events finally culminated in the Finals. Several teams had their eyes set on VCT, but took the time to participate in this circuit. It all ended with VCT Stage 1 Challengers participants, XSET, taking home the majority of the $50,000 prize.
The first two days of the Finals saw a fierce Group Stage. Group Stage Day 1 consisted of teams fighting to make Group Stage Day 2. The second day ended with eight teams headed to the Playoff Stage.
With no Lower Bracket, it was a one and done scenario for the teams that lost throughout the event. Here are the Quarterfinals results that sent the first four teams packing:

Only three of the Playoff Stage participants are not qualifiers for VCT NA Stage 1: Challengers. When it got to the Grand Final, it was down to two of those VCT squads:
That Grand Final victory might give XSET the momentum needed to take down Evil Geniuses in their first VCT Group Stage battle. It very well could also make for an epic rematch with Knights if they push through to the Main Event from the opposite group.
XSET has been a fan-favorite team in NA VALORANT since they shed the underdog title and have only lost one official game, against The Guard during the NSG Winter Championship Group Stage Day 2, since they were eliminated from the NA LCQ. Congratulations to them on a huge tournament victory leading into more VCT competition.
