VCT Brazil is getting hotter with every Stage 3 match. Challengers 2 just came to a close. Brazil’s representatives at Masters Reykjavik, Team Vikings and Sharks Esports, are still in the running to come out on top for their region again. Meanwhile, two other teams from Challengers 2 will join them in the Challengers Playoffs. The bottom 4 teams in the Challengers 2 main event will have to play through Challengers 3 in order to get another chance to go to Masters Berlin.

Who’s On Top Right Now?

The Top 4 teams to come out on top in VCT Brazil Stage 3 Challengers 2 are the following, from first to fourth:

  • Stars Horizon
  • Sharks Esports
  • Team Vikings
  • Gamelanders Blue

Team Vikings and Sharks Esports are still placing Top 4, which is expected considering how they made it to Masters Reykjavik before. However, Stars Horizon, previously known as the B4 Esports roster, seems to be giving both teams a run for their money. Stars Horizon handily defeated Team Vikings in the Semifinals round 13:7. Then they dominated the unsigned NOORG 2.0 with a score of 2:0 to secure first place.

Meanwhile, Sharks Esports had no trouble continuing to survive. In the Semifinals round, they swept aside SLICK 13:7, and then sent Gamelanders Blue packing 2:0. Team Vikings and Gamelanders Blue are still in the Top 4, meaning they will advance straight to the Challengers Playoffs.

What’s Next?

With the Top 4 going straight to the final event of VCT Brazil Stage 3, that leaves Challengers 3 to fill the final four slots of the Challengers Playoffs. The bottom 4 of the Challengers 2 main event are automatically seeded to be the final opponents for those who make it through the grueling qualifiers of Challengers 3. Those four teams are:

  • INGAMING Esports
  • FURIA Esports
  • SLICK
  • NOORG 2.0

These teams have their work cut out for them if they want to stay alive long enough to make it to Masters Berlin. Only time will tell to see how badly they want the right to represent Brazil in the final stages of the VALORANT Champions Tour.
