Total Overview of the Ep 2, Act I Battlepass

Brandon "Mothman" Moore

01/14/2021

Episode 2 of Valorant is officially underway. With it comes a brand new agent, a brand new Act, and a brand new Battlepass. The Battlepass is one of the more exciting gaming features over the last several years. Valorant has done a wonderful job providing content, free or paid, for players to grind towards each Act.

Act I of Episode 2, Formation, is pretty standard when it comes to a Valorant Battlepass. It has ten chapters, each with five paid rewards and some free ones sprinkled throughout. At the end, players will find and Epilogue. This is just a small treat for completing the Battlepass with some extra rewards.

Total Overview of the Ep 2, Act I Battlepass

Chapter 1

Premium Rewards

  • Infinity Bulldog
  • Tall Tales Buddy
  • 10 Radianite Points
  • Infinity Card
  • Aerosol Bucky

Free Rewards

  • Phantom Schema Card
  • Wraith Title

Stand Out Item: Infinity Bulldog

Right off the bat, players can earn one of the new, sleek Infinity skins. The Infinity Bulldog is the first tier and the first weapon within the Ep 2, Act I Battlepass. The green with hints of gold is absolutely beautiful and Bulldog diehards are going to love it.

Chapter 2

Premium Rewards

  • EZ Spray
  • Hershey Pup Spray
  • 10 Radianite Points
  • Sproutling Card
  • Outpost Ghost

Free Reward

  • Ep 2 // 1 Coin Buddy

Stand Out Item: EZ Spray

“GG EZ” is a term that Valorant players are all too familiar with. This spray will add insult to injury after any stellar performance. Slapping down the GG button and letting the enemy know it was an easy task is what competitive gaming is all about.

Chapter 3

Premium Rewards

  • Shorty Schema Card
  • No Shorty Spray
  • 10 Radianite Points
  • Salt Shaker Buddy
  • Aerosol Shorty

Free Rewards

  • Unlucky Title
  • 10 Radianite Points

Stand Out Item: Salt Shaker Buddy

The term “salt” or “salty” basically means someone is upset or bitter at a situation. Just like the EZ Spray, gamers are very familiar with the phrase. Put the Salt Shaker Buddy on the side of a Judge and the opponent on the receiving end of it will be salty indeed.

Chapter 4

Premium Rewards

  • Infinity Spectre
  • Yoru ID Card
  • Glitch Out Chick Spray
  • 10 Radianite Points
  • Outpost Judge

Free Reward

  • Going C Spray

Stand Out Item: Outpost Judge

The Judge is the second of the Outpost weapons found in the Ep 2, Act I Battlepass. The entire Outpost line is intriguing to say the least. The Judge shows it off well, with its long body. This gives it plenty of room to show off the skin’s theme.

Chapter 5

Premium Rewards

  • Faces in Places Spray
  • 10 Radianite Points
  • Battle Crab Buddy
  • Blueberry Spray
  • Aerosol Operator

Free Rewards

  • Versus // Victory + Defeat Card
  • 10 Radianite Points

Stand Out Item: Aerosol Operator

Let’s be honest. There was never going to be any other reward from Chapter 5 as the Stand Out Item. The Aerosol skin series tags up weapons like the side of an alleyway dumpster. It is just plain cool. Everyone loves an Operator skin and this is just one more to add to the great list of options.

Chapter 6

Premium Rewards

  • <3 Spray
  • 10 Radianite Points
  • Make ‘Em Dance Spray
  • Ares Schema Card
  • Outpost Ares

Free Reward

  • Lunar Firework Buddy

Stand Out Item: Make ‘Em Dance Spray

The Make ‘Em Dance Spray is a fun little add on to the spray roster. It exaggerates Raze’s Boom Bot into a cartoonish style, complete with robotic smiley face. The Boom Bot, as it sits on a surface, does a little dance. The wiggle it pulls off is actually kind of cute.

Chapter 7

Premium Rewards

  • Versus // Omen + Sage Card
  • 10 Radianite Points
  • Ancient Inheritance Buddy
  • Alas, Poor Robot! Spray
  • Infinity Guardian

Free Rewards

  • 10 Radianite Points
  • Boosted Title

Stand Out Item: Infinity Guardian

The Guardian is one of the coolest looking weapons in Valorant. It is slender, clean, and intimidating all at the same time. Adding the Infinity skin to it was a good choice by Riot Games. The weapon looks absolutely amazing.

Chapter 8

Premium Rewards

  • What Was That? Spray
  • Take on the Tundra Buddy
  • Bridge Between Worlds Card
  • 10 Radianite Points
  • Aerosol Odin

Free Reward

  • Radianite Hazard Spray

Stand Out Item: Aerosol Odin

Much like the Operator, the Odin version of Aerosol deserves its place as the Stand Out Item of Chapter 8. There is so much room on the massive heavy weapon, it really gives the skin designers free rein. The graffiti on the Odin is great, and what stands out among the tagging, is the little “pew” near the tip of the gun.

Chapter 9

Premium Rewards

  • 10 Radianite Points
  • Chill-Joy Card
  • Spicy Spray
  • Lit for 140 Spray
  • Infinity Phantom

Free Reward

  • Kingdom Logo Buddy

Stand Out Item: Chill-Joy Card

Killjoy really changed the game of Valorant. Not only did it make teams adapt to her playstyle, it gave fans a character with some personality. She always has something snarky to say. It is nice to see her just hanging out with her little bot, drinking some coffee, and putting together who knows what kind of scheme on her computer.

Chapter 10

Premium Rewards

  • Choose My Weapon Spray
  • Deadly Precision Buddy
  • Corporate Takeover Card
  • 10 Radianite Points
  • Outpost Melee

Free Rewards

  • Infinity Classic
  • Radianite Pardox Card

Stand Out Item: Choose My Weapon Spray

What a wonderful concept. The Choose My Weapon Spray is probably the best spray in the Ep 2, Act I Battlepass. Every time it is sprayed onto a surface, it randomly rolls through the weapons until it lands on one. The animated sprays in Valorant were already great to begin with. This one tops it off.

Epilogue

Premium Rewards

  • Epilogue: Salt Shaker Buddy
  • 10 Radianite Points
  • 10 Radianite Points
  • 10 Radianite Points
  • Epilogue: Infinity Card

Stand Out Item: Epilogue: Salt Shaker Buddy

The Epilogue is an added bonus for the Valorant players who grind through the Ep 2, Act I Battlepass. It doesn’t just end at Chapter 10, there is more to work for. The second Salt Shaker Buddy stands out among the tiny selection of rewards. Its a golden version of the one found earlier in the Battlepass. What more is there to say?

As always, the Battlepass can be purchased for 1,000 Valorant Points. At any time during the Act, players can purchase it and earn all of the rewards up to that point.
