Welcome to our fortieth edition of Valorant Top Player Transfers of the Week! Only a few days stand between us and the crowning of the final Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs champions. Just a few weeks later, we’ll all be virtually transported to Berlin’s Verti Music Hall for the second most exciting tournament in Valorant history. Until then, it’s time for more transfers. Before you read this transfers article, make sure to check out our last installment to stay updated! Here are the top Valorant player transfers for the week of August 9 – August 15.
Matthew “mCe” Elmore, the team’s coach since February, was let go from the team today.
After a short one-month tenure on the team and less-than-desirable results at VCT, Luminosity benched Joseph “ban” Seungmin Oh from their roster. Kaleb “mooseloff” Jayne was moved to the starting lineup in his place.
Every single player from the Korean organization left the team in a period of just three days. The team was most recently eliminated by Vision Strikers in the Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs.
Cloud9 signed Anthony “vanity” Malaspina from Version1, leaving a gap in the latter team’s roster. Cloud9’s roster is now up to seven players so it’s likely that they will let some individuals go soon.
Magno “Pr0phie” Ramos left Complexity once more after he rejoined them back in June. This marks the second time that he left the NA roster.
REJECT’s Yuma “Dep” Hisamoto announced that he would leave the team to take a break from the competitive scene.
In the same vein as Dep, Tom “otom” Hart left Rix.GG Thunder and decided to take a break from competitive play.
