Welcome to the first edition of Run it Back’s Top Player Transfers of the Week! This will be our weekly feature where we highlight some of the week’s top Valorant player transfers. Here are top Valorant transfers for week of October 26 – November 1.
XSET’s New Roster
XSET, the organization formed by ex-FaZe executives, signed their first Valorant roster earlier this week. All of their players have previous professional esports experience that will be put to the test in the First Strike event from November 4-8.
NRG Signed xCeeD on Trial
NRG signed Jack “xCeeD” Holiman as their fifth player in order to complete their roster prior to First Strike. xCeeD most recently played CS:GO for the North American organization “Triumph” before retiring and making his move over to Valorant.
Dignitas Completed Their Roster
In a similar manner to NRG, Dignitas signed Bryan “MAKKA” Drouillard and Chad “Oderus” Miller, to complete their roster before First Strike. Both MAKKA and Oderus played professional CS:GO before moving to Valorant for several organizations including Ronin and Ghost Academy.
Cloud9 Replenished Their Korean Roster
Cloud9 Korea brought on three new players to make up for the three that left on October 31st. The new members of the roster are Seon-ho “xeta” Son, Lee “Hate” Ye-hun, and Yu “BuZz” Byung-chul. Hyeon-sang “Pavane” Yu joined the team as a coach. Xeta has an extensive background in CS:GO as part of MVP PK and TYLOO. Pavane had his esports experience as a coach for Overwatch teams like the London Spitfire and New York Excelsior.
FaZe Lost Their Coach
FaZe Clan’s coach, Salah “Salah” Barakat left for an undisclosed reason just over a month after joining the team.
Venerated Left Luminosity Gaming
Just a bit over a month after joining, Zachary “Venerated” Roach left the team as he didn’t enjoy the game and did not want to continue playing it. LG is now left with only four players before the start of First Strike.
Chiwawa Joined Ninjas in Pyjamas
Egor “chiwawa” Stepanyuk successfully completed his trial for NiP and will be permanently joining the roster. The organization now has a full Valorant roster after Damien “HyP” Souville and Enzo “Fearoth” Mestari left the team on October 20th.
Legacy Esports Sign a Valorant Roster
The Australian organization signed its first Valorant roster. Two of the players, Dale ‘deoxiDE’ Carta and Tyson ‘pan1K’ Missak played CS:GO for Legacy back in 2017 while Gareth “gazR” Lynn played CS:GO at the top level in Oceania. Fergus ‘ferg’ Stephenson played CS:GO for various French teams and competed in the same Ignition Series tournament as Aaron “zenk0k0” Cox.
Team Singularity Also Enters Valorant
Team Singularity, one of Denmark’s top organizations, signed an all-Russian player roster and an Estonian coach for their first Valorant team. The squad was part of an orgless team called FishkaVTom prior to being signed by Singularity. Ilya “NLaaeR” Koppalov’s claim to fame was his time in professional Overwatch for the Atlanta Reign. Denis “Gray” Danilyuk used to be a pro in Point Blank, which is a first-person shooter developed by a South Korean company.
Nexus Gaming Expand into Valorant
Last but not least, one of Romania’s top esports teams jumped into Valorant as well with an all-Romanian roster.
