Team Heretics adds former G2 players to Valorant roster

Team Heretics continues to rebuild its roster. The Spanish organization recently parted ways with several members, leaving only their first signee on the roster. Christian “lowel” Garcia Antoran was all by his lonesome self before the team announced the acquisition of Ondřej “MONSTEERR” Petrů from LDN UTD. The roster is almost complete with the announcement of the Valorant team’s third and forth players.

Team Heretics adds ardiis and paTiTek

Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks, Patryk “paTiTek” Fabrowski, and Aleksander “zeek” Zygmunt were released by G2. Žygimantas “nukkye” Chmieliauskas and Auni “AvovA” Chahade subsequently left Team Heretics to join G2. Now, ardiis and paTiTek have found their way to the Team Heretics roster.

There does not appear to have been a deal or trade in place between Team Heretics and G2 Esports. Instead, it just seems like pieces of the puzzle falling into place for both teams.

The EU Valorant scene seems to be resetting itself. 2021 has seen many teams adjust their existing rosters. FNATIC and Team Liquid made changes earlier in the year. Acend, Team Heretics, and G2 Esports have followed suit.

Masters Reykjavik has ended, Stage 3 of the Valorant Champions Tour is on the horizon, and these teams want their best shot at making it to Berlin and hopefully Champions at the end of the year.

Both new members of the First Strike Europe Champions had little to say in regards to the signing on their Twitter accounts. A simple announcement was all paTiTek sent out.

The announcement from ardiis contained a little more emotion than that. Instead of simply stating his signing to Team Heretics, he added a farewell message to G2 Esports with a bit of profanity.

Of course, both players are going to want to prove themselves with their actions rather than their words. Just one member remains before the roster is complete. Be on the lookout for that signing soon.
