Another prominent esports organization has taken the leap into Valorant. Established in 2011, SoaR is known for its wide variety in gaming entertainment. They have a large list of creators and players across titles such as Apex Legends, Fortnite, and Call of Duty. It is time to add Valorant to that list. Soar has announced the signing of the team formerly known as PUGSTARS. North American Valorant now has another very talented team with the resources of a grand organization behind them.

The entire PUGSTARS roster has a new home under SoaR. The team has gained a solid fanbase with appearances in the Valorant Champions Tour and several lower tier tournaments. They have series victories over Noble, Evil Geniuses, and Cloud9 Blue just a short time ago in March. Those are some solid wins to have under their belt and with the backing of an organization, the sky may be the limit.

The announcement comes just as the second Stage 2 Challengers open qualifier is set to begin. If they are able to fight through their portion of the bracket, they will have definitely proved themselves early on. That means they will have potentially defeated both Soniqs and TSM on their way to qualifying for the Stage 2 Challengers 2 Main Event to fight for a spot in Iceland.

The SoaR roster consists of:

  • Matthew “Cryocells” Panganiban
  • Muhtadi “b0ssy” Al-Sammarraee
  • Denis “DENYA” Kosogov
  • James “Nurfed” McFadden
  • Alexander “zander” Dituri

Congratulations to the former PUGSTARS team on being signed by SoaR. This truly may just be the beginning of their rise through North American Valorant. Keep an eye on the Valorant Champions Tour action as this team debuts under SoaR against Agoge Gaming.
