The Portuguese Valorant scene grows by one today with the addition of SAW and its new roster.

SAW is a fairly new organization that was created in January of 2020, making this year their one year anniversary. SAW also fields a CS:GO team that they signed when the org was first created. Since their signing, they have placed 2nd at ESL Masters España, 1st at RTP Arena Cup, and 1st at ESEA Season 34: Advanced Division – Europe.

Who is SAW’s New Roster?

The Valorant roster consists of players from Warriors, an orgless Portuguese team. They lost their sponsor, Team B7, in January of this year after they exited the Valorant scene. The players and staff decided to stick together and thus changed their name to just Warriors.

Warriors participated in a lot of European and Latin American tournaments, with first place wins at CNDE Agents Showdown, VALORANT Master Series Cup #1, and Desafío Legión 8. They even tried their hand at First Strike Europe, where they made it past Qualifier C but fell in Play-In #2. If their CS:GO team is anything to go by, then SAW is pretty good at picking players for their teams.

Warriors participated in the Valorant Champions Tour: Europe Challengers 2 Qualifier but fell in the Top 16. They haven’t announced it yet, but it wouldn’t be unlikely to see the roster under SAW give it another show at the VCT: Europe Challengers 2 Qualifier.
