According to soures of 1pv, Kévin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans is expected to join Ninjas in Pyjamas’ Valorant team. NiP has been recently rebuilding their Valorant squad after recently dropping Saif “Sayf” Jibraeel along with Niels “luckeRRR” Jasiek. However, they have signed Yaroslav “Jady” Nikolaev. This has left one more spot on the mixed European NiP team, and it looks like Ex6TenZ may be the last piece of the puzzle.
The sources of 1pv have stated the following on the case of Ex6TenZ and NiP:
According to our sources, the Swedish organization is going to recruit one of its oldest opponents: Kévin “Ex6tenZ” Droolans. The Belgian has decided to switch to VALORANT since the beta and has refused various offers on CS:GO, including Heretics, who wanted to give him the keys of the project. This shows that the former G2 has decided to give up on CS and intends to invest in VALORANT in order to return to the top level.
After a series of poor results presented by the Ninjas, including a failure to qualify for the elusive First Strike Europe event, Ninjas in Pyjamas Valorant team has gone through a total overhaul in terms of the roster. Emir “rhyme” Muminovic and Charles “CREA” Beauvois are the only remaining players that have managed to retain their seat on the Swedish organization’s Valorant roster.
The addition of Ex6TenZ to the roster may be of huge benefit. The Belgian has immense experience in being an in-game leader, as well as coach in CS:GO. In Valorant, Ex6TenZ led his own mix named L’institut, almost qualifying for First Strike Europe. With such a resume, this may be the man that this NiP squad needs to challenge the likes of Team Heretics, G2, and others. We are yet to receive an official statement regarding the signing of the Belgian player.
