NRG’s entrance into Valorant has been going smoothly so far. The North American organization has signed Yannick “KOLER” Blanchette from Immortals, and now only needs two more players to round out the NRG roster. NRG announced their entrance into the scene on October 5th, when they added Damian “daps” Steele and Chet “Chet” Singh to their new roster.

NRG Brings in KOLER From Immortals

KOLER has been present on the Immortals roster ever since it got announced. The North American team is considered to be one of the finest Valorant teams in NA. However, the team has not proved that they can triumph at a big event as of yet. Immortals’ resume consists of 3rd, 4th, and 5th-8th finishes at the biggest NA tourneys. The team has been living in the shadow of the big dogs such as Sentinels and Team SoloMid.

Despite that, KOLER had solid performances at these events. KOLER showed great capability in utilizing Cypher and Phoenix will definitely come in handy on this new NRG Valorant team.

Immortals on the Brink of Extinction

KOLER is not the first player to move away from the roster. On October 2, Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk and Quan “dicey” Tran, have been transferred to 100 Thieves to complete the reformed team. These unfavorable roster changes for Immortals, have left the team with only two players and a coach remaining. In this state, the team will not be ready to compete at the upcoming First Strike event.

As for now, Immortals have not shared any plans for filling in the gaps in their team. Three players are needed to once more complete the Immortals Valorant roster.
