As part of the preparations for upcoming events, roster changes continue to be made on the VALORANT stage. Germany-based MOUZ announced through social media that they have added Ben “RECIDENT” Battash to their squad.

MOUZ roster:

  • Felix “al0rante” Brandl
  • Joseph “Luzuh” Loose
  • James “Kryptix” Affleck
  • Laurent “memset” Werly
  • Ben “RECIDENT” Battash

After the new member joined the team, there was also a name leaving the roster. The ex-in-game leader of the team, Amine “Amilwa” Saidi, ended his adventure with MOUZ through a mutual agreement. From now on, the new member of the team, RECIDENT, will undertake the in-game leader role for the team.

Although the last season started quite well for MOUZ, they weren’t able to deliver the final blow as they wanted. The organization, which entered the VALORANT scene by acquiring the MMix squad that was successful in the VRL DACH: Evolution Stage 1 Qualifiers, completed the group stage of the regional league as first place thanks to their great teamplay. However, the team could not carry its performance to the playoffs and failed to participate in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022 EMEA Challengers Promotion.

RECIDENT, the new face of the team, will fight for a different banner for the first time in his VALORANT career. Being a part of Team Finest since November 2020, the player most recently competed with his former team at VRL East: Surge Stage 1. Team Finest finished 6th in this tournament and then lost the relegation match.

MOUZ’s new roster will debut against Wave Esports at VRL DACH: Evolution Stage 2 on May 10.
