Gen.G has once again made another adjustment for their VALORANT team in preparation for NA’s Last Chance Qualifiers. The organization announced the re-signing of former CSGO coach Chris “Elmapuddy” Tebbit. He will be rejoining the organization to help lead their VALORANT Squad.

Elmapuddy previously worked with Gen.G before as the coach of the org’s now-disbanded CSGO team before moving on to Cloud9. Out of that CSGO roster, only Kenneth “koosta” Suen remained with the Gen.G organization. Other players like Timothy “autimatic” Ta went on to join T1’s VALORANT team and Sam “s0m” Oh ended up getting signed by NRG Esports.

According to the announcement video, Elmapuddy is excited to be back with Gen.G and is looking forward to being able to help the players prepare both in game and out of game.

As we outlined previously, the team will be competing in VCT NA’s Last Chance Qualifiers to try and earn NA’s final slot to VCT CHAMPIONS, the last and most important event of the year. With that in mind, It will be a tough battle with some of NA’s best and brightest along with two of OCE’s top representatives fighting for the chance to play on the international stage.

The tournament will be starting on Oct. 12, 2021.
