The 2023 VALORANT Champions Tour is hands down the most-talked about season in the esport’s short history. While 2022 winds down, everyone is looking forward to the partnership era of VALORANT and the incredible talent leading the way. For the most part, the Americas and Pacific leagues have been doing all of the roster announcements. Much of EMEA has been quiet. Up until now that is. FNATIC, in a outstandingly hilarious video, has revealed their entire 2023 roster with the final addition being former Gambit/M3C star Timofey “Chronicle” Khromov.
The full roster reveal comes after the majority of the team was already known. The last piece of the puzzle is now in place with chronicle slotting in. The video announcement showed a zombie apocalypse type scenario with rabid FNATIC fans wanting to know who will make up the finalized roster. The final leg of that video let the cat out of the bag, so to speak, introducing Chronicle as the newest FNATIC player.
The full roster after the announcement is as follows:
Boaster, Derke, and Alfajer remain with the team after a solid 2022 season that saw the team place 5th-6th at Champions. They also won the recent Superdome event, hosted by BME Esports, with James “Mistic“ Orfila as their fifth. Leo joined from Guild Esports in the middle of October and helped lead them to that Superdome victory.
Now, things are complete with Chronicle as a part of FNATIC. Their 2023 roster is in place and like all partnered teams, they will be looking to show off their skills at the kickoff event in Brazil. Every single partnered team across the three VALORANT Champions Tour leagues will meet in Brazil for the opening tournament. Whatever teams wins will receive an extra slot for their region at Champions 2023.
Stay tuned to Run It Back for more VALORANT news as rosters continue to be put together.
