Another leading organization in North America has entered the VALORANT transfer market. Evil Geniuses announced on social media that they have added Corbin “C0M” Lee and Vincent “Apoth” Le to their VALORANT roster.
With the new additions the refreshed EG roster is now:
The number of players in Evil Geniuses’ roster reduced to three after Mike “pho” Panza became inactive and Diondre “YaBoiDre” Bond transferred to NYFU. With the new additions, the roster has been completed once more, however. The two fresh names of the team also stated on their social media accounts that they are grateful for the chance and that it is an honor to represent such a great organization.
Things didn’t go well for the North American-based organization in VALORANT so far. Evil Geniuses, who entered the scene at the beginning of 2021, drew attention by establishing a male-female mix squad at first. However, the established team failed to deliver and failed to qualify for any major tournaments during the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021.
Consecutive unsuccessful results pushed the organization to make alterations. Unfortunately, these changes were not enough to get EG to the position they wanted. Despite occasionally showing promising performances in NSG tournaments, the rosters weren’t enough for a solid run at VCT.
Shortly before the VCT 2022 season kicked off, Evil Geniuses announced a new lineup. And this lineup made it for the first time for the organization to attend a VCT main event. Later, the team could not maintain this success in the VCT 2022 Group Stage and completed the stage without a single victory throughout the league.
EG will now try to achieve new successes with their new signings.
