Evil Geniuses is yet another team announcing their final roster for the 2022 VALORANT Champions Tour at the last minute. Three hours before their first 2022 VCT open qualifier match, EG introduced who would represent them to begin the season. This included three brand news players to the squad.
The Evil Geniuses roster consists of:
Christine “potter” Chi remains on as head coach as both pho and Boostio keep their places on the team.
The first new addition is Reformed, a former YFP Gaming member who has been trialing with EG since late October. Up next is jawgemo, an ex-T1 Academy player.
Finally, we have the potential new superstar for the team. YaBoiDre was a part of the first iteration of 100 Thieves in VALORANT, that famously did not work out. He then cemented himself as one of the best players in NA during his time with Luminosity Gaming.
Evil Geniuses is just one of several high profile esports organizations that have entered VALORANT, but haven’t had the results they’ve hoped for. Even with the second VCT circuit beginning, the game can still be considered in its infancy. Now is the perfect time for EG to make these necessary changes and reach the same levels of success it has in other esports titles.
