Dignitas finish out Valorant roster with Ryann and Rara

After a month of trialing with the organization, both Noah “Rara” Giesbrecht and Ryan “Ryann” Welsh have signed with Dignitas. As of February 25, Dignitas is a full Valorant roster. The team will most likely be competing in the next Valorant Champions Tour Qualifier as their first official tournament together.
Rara and Ryann first began their trial with Dignitas on January 25. Rara has been competing in Valorant since the game’s beta phase. He first played for T1’s Valorant Academy roster but was released within two months when T1 dissolved the roster entirely. He later played with the Rise roster for only a couple of short-lived matches before beginning his trial with Dignitas. Ryann, unlike Rara, first appeared in the Valorant scene in mid-December of 2020. Before his transition to Valorant, Ryann was a professional CS:GO player for Triumph Gaming.
Despite Dignitas having entered Valorant with a promising roster, the team never managed to live up to its expectations. The team has been juggling and trialing different players since August of 2020 but hasn’t had a seemingly solidified roster until now. Of the 12 tournaments Dignitas had played in so far, they’ve only managed to rake in 3 top 5 finishes. The majority of their results fall into the 9th to 16th place category. Fortunately for the fans of the team, the additions of Rara and Ryann may be the spark Dignitas needs to solidify their spot as a consistent top 15 contender. Both players are surely hungry to compete now that they’re officially signed. Hopefully, that motivation will spread throughout the roster bringing fans the Dignitas they’ve been wanting.
