Another day, another CS:GO pro joining a Valorant team. A recent report revealed that Bence “DeadFox” Böröcz, would be joining the Hungarian team Need more DM. A later tweet from the organization confirmed the report.

DeadFox will be replacing Norbert “Tigene” Pásztor, who left the team today at the same time as DeadFox‘s announcement. According to the report, members of Need more DM believed tigene was “not trying to give [his] best every game and was not trying to be much better.”

A Bit About DeadFox and the Team

DeadFox most recently played CS:GO for Hellraisers before being benched in March of 2019. He was later released from the team in September of the same year. He was inactive from competitive play until his tweet in December of 2020, where he announced he was looking for a Valorant team.

In the report, DeadFox mentioned that he received offers from much bigger organizations like Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP), FunPlus Phoenix (FPX), and Vitality. Despite this, he decided he felt more comfortable playing for a Hungarian team that he knew. This also meant that they would be able to communicate better with no language barriers.

The changes come as the team prepares for the upcoming Valorant Champions Tour. Prior to this, they won the Magyar Esport Kupa, placed second at the LVP – Genesis Cup Radiants, and even almost qualified for First Strike Europe. Having an experienced player like DeadFox on their team could help them reach new heights at the upcoming Champions Tour.

This isn’t the only CS:GO to Valorant move of today though. Just a bit ago, we covered Dmitriy “dimasick” Matvienko’s move to FPX. Be sure to read that as part of your daily routine too.
