Cypher Camera Spots: Bind – 4 Defensive Positions

These four Cypher camera spots for the map, Bind, will allow you to gain valuable information on your enemies’ positions, without alerting them. The guide outlines two defensive camera positions for each bomb-site for the Valorant map, Bind.
Having early information provided by Cypher’s cameras is incredibly valuable, as it will allow you to rotate to other sites when necessary, as well as being able to call for teammates to rotate in quickly. It will also ensure that you are in position when the enemies do push your bomb-site, as you have had an early warning beforehand.
Cypher’s signature ability is the ‘Spycam’, which allows this agent to place a camera down on the map, anywhere within line-of-sight and range. After placing the camera down, you can activate it again in order to view the video feed. This grants vision from the camera’s position, providing you with valuable information, without any of the risks of dying attached.
The key to this ability is placing the camera in positions that aren’t easily visible to the enemies. This will allow you to gather information about the enemy, without them even being aware of it, giving your team a huge advantage. The camera is also able to fire a dart at enemies, which will grant your team vision of the player hit, until they remove it. For camera positions that are difficult for the enemies to spot, it’s often better to ignore this dart ability and just use the camera for reconnaissance.
Cypher’s other abilities include:
B-Hookah: This camera spot grants vision of B-Short and due to its placement behind the metal sheet can be very difficult for the enemies to see. With this camera in place, you can focus your attention on B-Long, while being aware of any enemies coming in through Hookah.
B-Site: This camera position grants vision of both Hookah and the entrance to B-Long. This could be used when you are considering rotating towards A, but still require information towards the B-Site. This will allow your team to have more players towards the the site you think they are committing to, while still being aware of what’s happening on the other site.
A-Showers: This camera spot provides full vision of players coming into showers. This position is very difficult for enemies to spot, unless they know exactly where to look. This will allow all the players on A to focus towards A-Short, while being aware of what might be coming through A-Showers.
A-Short: Jumping is required to place the camera in this position and it’s important that it is placed as close to the metal roof as possible. If placed correctly, it can be difficult for the enemies to spot, and will grant complete vision of A-Short. it’s probably not a good idea to place your camera in this spot at the start of the round, but rather using it in the mid or late-round, as the chances of it being spotted will be lower.
These Cypher camera spots can be of huge aid to both, rookie and experienced Cypher players. Memorizing them shouldn’t be an issue, but we do recommend that you go over them and practice them on your own. This should help those spots stick pretty quickly.
