Alliance have a finalized Valorant roster now with a batch of four players signed to the team simultaneously.

The Story of Alliance

Alliance came to be in 2013 by Team Razer and Alex Garfield, Evil Geniuses’s former CEO. They currently also host teams in Apex Legends, Fortnite. and Dota 2 among others.

Alliance’s story started in December of last year, when British host, manager, and journalist James “BanKs” Banks became their general manager. Back when BanKs‘s signing was announced, the organization boasted their “brand new player facility” with living and practice space. Not many teams have such an advantage. Perhaps that will be the winning edge for Alliance.

Prior to these four, Alliance signed Enzo “Fearoth” Mestari from Ninjas in Pyjamas to start off their roster. These four players come from various walks of Valorant, with Niels “luckeRRR” Jasiek also making his way over to Alliance from Ninjas in Pyjamas. Tautvydas “hype” Paldavicius used to play for ROYALS and Rix.GG until November of last year. Lastly, Vilius “krea6oN” Malinauskas’s claim to fame are alltheRAGE and eXiLe eSports. Mitch “MitchMan” McBride, an Irish freelance CS:GO commentator, also joined Alliance as the team’s Analyst.

An interesting point to note is that all of the players on the Alliance roster have played in First Strike Europe to some extent, showing that they have what it takes to compete at the top level.

The roster completion comes just in time. The European qualifier for Valorant Champions Tour kicks off on February 4. Surely, we will see Alliance battle through the open qualifier at the event.
