The qualifiers for NA VCT 2022 are approaching and teams are finalizing their rosters. If there is one organization in North American VALORANT that knows what it takes to make a championship squad, it is 100 Thieves. The First Strike Champions and Masters Berlin representatives are ready to take on the new year with Adam “ec1s“ Eccles and Hunter “BabyJ“ Schline.
100 Thieves has been a powerhouse in VALORANT since entering the esport. The roster has been through several iterations since June 4, 2020, however. A few things haven’t changed and that is Spencer “Hiko” Martin having a place on the team and the org’s ability to compete at the highest level.
The latter part of that doesn’t look to be going away any time soon. Especially with the addition of former Team Liquid and Ninjas in Pyjamas player ec1s as the IGL. On top of that, an incredibly talented fifth in the form of ex-FaZe Clan member BabyJ.
Both of them are clearly excited for this opportunity, as they should be. This roster looks downright terrifying on paper with the British in-game leader moving to the region. This is one of many player imports taking place across VALORANT and has all the makings of being the most impactful one.
100 Thieves were the favorite among many to make it to Champions through the NA Last Chance Qualifier. That was cut short by a defeat at the hands of Cloud9 Blue. The positive thing to take away from that loss is the time and preparation they have had to build this roster. When NA VCT kicks off, look for them to exceed all expectations.
